The FRESH MATCH program is made possible by substantial support from the Partnership for Better Health, their donors and generous community donations. Through this program, shoppers at Farmers on the Square will have their SNAP benefits matched up to $20 per week per recipient and FMNP benefits up to $30 per week. The additional money will be issued in the form of coupons to be used at the market. Established USDA rules regarding the types of food to be purchased with these benefits will remain in place. Eligible persons interested in taking advantage of this program should go to the information booth at the market.
