The Dickinson College Farm started in 2007 but is the result of student-led initiatives in sustainable agriculture dating back to 1999. What started out as a 3/4 acre plot of land on campus has grown over the years into a 50 acre diversified production farm in Boiling Springs, PA that supports students and faculty academic and research interests at Dickinson College. The primary production focus of DCF is to grow certified organic produce for use in the college dining hall. The farm also supports a robust Campus Supported Agriculture (CSA) produce subscription program and regularly donates fresh produce to Carlisle's local food bank, Project SHARE, in addition to managing a stand at FOTS.

Our stand offers a tasty selection of prepared foods made with certified organic ingredients raised at the College Farm or from sustainable farms nearby. Market customers are sure to find the Dickinson College Farm wood-fired pizza oven each week on the square. Our handmade and fresh-baked pizzas reflect the seasonal fluctuations on our farm in addition to quality ingredients grown within the Cumberland Valley. In addition to wood-fired pizzas, our stand features seasonal organic vegetables, fresh salad dressings, refreshing popsicles and “our farm in a jar” through canned soups, pickled favorites, salsa, hot sauce and more!
