Prescott's Patch has been serving Lancaster, York, Dauphin and Cumberland counties since 2001. We've been a vendor in Carlisle (Pomfret St. in the early days and FOTS starting in 2009) for over a decade and a half.
Located along the beautiful Susquehanna River in Lancaster County, Steve Prescott, Lynn Malinak, and crew grow produce in healthy, living soil that runs four generations deep.
We are proud to be a single farm CSA (with weekly pick-up at market). This means that we can tell members and customers exactly how their food is grown. Our philosophy/mission is to grow chemical-free, nutrient dense, and delicious food in the most environmentally friendly manner possible. Our farming decisions are based on what will have the least impact on the environment.
Our passion for growing good food with integrity is both our motivation and our guide.
We grow strawberries, raspberries (red, black and gold), blueberries, blackberries and a wide variety of vegetables, including many heirloom varieties. We also choose varieties based on flavor.
When we have time (during the winter), we enjoy escaping to a warmer part of the country for a long canoeing or backpacking adventure in the wilderness.
