Wendy and Troy Jochems own and operate a small-scale lavender farm located in Schuylkill County, PA. They harvest and maintain their lavender fields by hand using sustainable methods. Hope Hill Lavender Farm propagates from their own root stock to create their quality plants with careful attention to using the best plants from previous years and quality organic soils. They maintain their lavender fields without pesticides and herbicides. At the correct time, Troy and Wendy harvest the lavender for fresh cut flowers, dried bouquets, and distillation to obtain their own artisanal essential lavender oil. From the artisanal lavender oil their soaps, lotions, candles and other high quality natural products are created. Hope Hill Lavender Farm is a member of the National Lavender Grower’s Association and the Pennsylvania Association of Sustainable Agriculture. They started in 2011 with the planting of 1500 lavender plants and continue to grow in plants and knowledge. Their hobbies include hiking the Weiser State Forest located behind their farm and horseback riding.

At market, they offer high quality natural lavender products including soaps, lotion, essential oil, hydrosol, lip balm, soy candles, english lavender for cooking, fresh and dried lavender
