The Weekly Market Update
Wednesday, Aug 4
There's FRUIT galore nowadays -- canteloupes and peaches and apples and you name it! And the variety of VEGETABLES just keeps growing -- there are still some tender leafy greens, but now there are also potatoes, carrots, onions, garlic!, okra, beets, eggplant ... if I don't stop there I'll never get this out before market time! And of course there are BAKED GOODS of all kinds and CHEESES and REFRESHING TEAS and MEAT (it's a JuJo Acres week too) and also FLOWERS!!

Yoga!
Free Community Yoga session from 4pm - 4:30pm in the grass area at the market. The class is open to everyone and is designed for all levels -- and it's free : ) So if you're feeling in need of a stretch, wander over to the grassy place and join in.
Children's area!
We've had coloring for kids to do from the very start, but now there will be a dedicated spot for children who come along to the square! Adult supervision is there, on a blanket in the shade. Look for the sign, often with a balloon, out in the grass.
New Recipe Card
Check out this week's recipe card over at the Friends of the Farmers table. A local cooking school-graduate tries out each recipe, and makes sure that what's in the recipe is available on the square. This week, red peppers are the thing!
See you on the square!
