The driving reason for frequenting the Farmers on the Square market is to shop for locally-produced food. That said, we do try to make shopping there quite entertaining. This season we are tapping as much local talent as possible to achieve that end.
We will have a rotation of local chefs and talented home cooks demonstrating how to use the products sold at the market. Posie the Fairy and teaching artists from Carlisle Arts Learning Center will be regulars at the market to paint little faces, help little hands make little crafts and provide information about why little ones should care about supporting local farmers. Local musicians will busk for your listening pleasure and we’ll have on tap a rotation of health and wellness activities, including the popular chair massage services of David Bender.
